ABUJA-Former Nigerian and Ghanaian leaders have paid glowing tributes to former President Goodluck Jonathan, calling him the harbinger of peace in Nigeria.
Recalling the 2015 elections, the leaders said that Jonathan saved Nigeria at a brink of ‘war’ when he conceded defeat.
The leaders included former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar, former President of Ghana, John Mahama, former Vice President Namadi Sambo amongst other.
The leaders spoke at an ongoing public presentation ceremony of a book titled “My Transition Hours”, authored by Jonathan in Abuja.
The book launch attracted the presence of President Muahammadu Buhari represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar amongst other dignitaries who are yet to make their remarks.
