OWERRI—AHEAD of the 2019 general elections, the Imo state governorship flag bearer of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, yesterday said that all preparations had been concluded for APGA to take over the remaining states in the southaest region.

Araraume while speaking to his supporters in Owerri, said the need has come to develop the region.

He mentioned Imo state under Rochas Okorocha  as one that has suffered “misrule”. He boasted that by the time he becomes the governor, he would address all the challenges the state is currently passing through.

The Senator also commended the leadership of APGA for resolving all the misunderstandings which arose from the concluded governorship primaries in the state, adding that he would work with all those who contested with him for the governorship ticket of APGA.

According to Araraume, “The situation we have is a situation of no victor, no vanquish. It is a win-win situation for  all of us.   My brothers who aspired  meant well and they still mean well. All of us will work as a team.Nobody will be out.

“At the end of the day, everybody will play his or her role towards making Imo a better place not just for us but for all. The size of government is so large that everybody will find accommodation. We will work together.”
