Delta State Chairman of NARTO, Prince David Iwere, who handed down the warning in Warri, noted that those who started parking their haulage trucks along the Ugbuwangue axis of NPA Expressway, close to NPA New Port, Warri, are not members of the association.

Prince Iwere said the warning became necessary following recurrent casualties recorded along the Niger Cat end of the busy NPA Expressway, where tankers are parked.

He added that members of NARTO, Delta State chapter, had enjoyed robust business relationship with the management of Nigerian Ports Authority, Warri, since June 16, 1979, when the association began its haulage operations.

He stressed that they would continue to carry out their legitimate business with the highest safety standards at the designated park besides the NPA New Port.
