Nasarawa commends NAHCON for role in recovery of pilgrim’s missing dollars

THE Executive Secretary, Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board, in Nasarawa State, Mallam Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba has lauded officials of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, for working tirelessly in collaboration with the state officials to ensure that a pilgrim from the state recovered his missing dollars.

NAHCON officials with one of the pilgrims from Nasarawa State a.k.a. Wa’Laha-Laha whose entire Basic Travel Allowance, BTA, was lost, but found and returned to him; flanked by Staff and Manager of Al-Andalus Al-Masi Hotel, Madinah, recently.

In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Abdulrazaq Muhammad in Makkah said the gesture would further rebuild pilgrims’ confidence in the activities of NAHCON in the holy land.

Nalaraba assured officials of the NAHCON of his board’s readiness to continue to synergize with them for effective welfare of Nigerian pilgrims.

The statement then urged pilgrims from Nasarawa State and beyond to handle their money with care and control their spending to avoid facing hardship during their stay in the holy land.

It would be recalled that a pilgrim from Nasarawa State, Muhammad Nuhu popularly known as Wa’Laha-Laha misplaced his money which was later found through the Hotel CCTV camera in Madina.
