BOMADI – THE People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Bomadi, Bomadi Local Government Area, has bestowed an honorary doctorate degree, Ph.D, in road construction and empowerment of rural communities on the lawmaker representing the Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Nicholas Mutu.
Giving the honorary title, weekend, during the visit of the lawmaker to the party office at Bomadi, headquarters of Bomadi Local Government Area, the party chairman, Hon. Prince Opuofoni, said: “The title is well deserved and is in consideration of the lawmaker’s developmental efforts in his constituency over the years.”
He declared that the party was 100 per cent ready to return him unopposed in 2019.
Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Politics, David Ekereokosu, and Member, Delta State Scholarship Board, Mr Jackson Okodozor, also described Mutu as an executive legislator considering his unequalled developmental activities in rural communities.
“Your voice is loud and clear in empowerment schemes, road construction and community development. The only language of politics is development and development alone. You are an executive legislator in road construction in rural communities,” Ekereokosu said.
Earlier, during his visit to the palace of the traditional ruler of Kabowei Kingdom, Patani Local Government Area, the monarch, HRM Shadrack P. Erebulu, the Aduo III, thanked Mutu for his relentless efforts in human empowerment and community development.
