A Magistrate court  in Owerri has on Friday, released 127 Pro-Biafra women remanded in prison for engaging in peaceful protest and demanding for the release of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB

According to IPOB’s lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, he said they were released unconditionally.

He also said that they would take legal action against the police as the Biafra women were reportedly bullied by the officers of the Nigeria police, while in prison since last week.
