A former Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Pastor P.Z. Aginighan, has been affirmed as the “only and duly recognised Delta Ijaw APC State leader”.

The affirmation was made on Friday in a communique issued at the end of the APC Delta Ijaw leadership meeting held at DSC Township, Orhuwhorun.

The communique, signed by 10  leaders from Ijaw area of Delta State and 75 others, also affirmed the leadership of Olorogun Otega Emerhor as the  leader of the mainstream of the party in Delta while passing a vote of confidence on Chief Cyril Abeye Ogodo as its duly elected state Chairman.

It also endorsed the leadership of the APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshionmhole, and the second term bid of President Muhammadu Buhari.
