A member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Lado Suleja, has dissociated himself from rumours of his defection from the mainstream All Progressives Congress (APC), to the break-away Reformed All Progressives Congress (R-APC).
In a chat with Journalists at the National Assembly on Friday, the lawmaker representing Gurara/Suleja/Tafa Federal Constituency of Niger State said he was still in APC.
“I’m a bonafide and card carrying member of the APC”, he said.
The lawmaker further explained that he had in the past held the post of National Youth Leader of the party.
He noted that as a founding member of the party, his loyalty was still with President Muhammadu Buhari.
“My loyalty remains with the APC and President Muhammadu Bubari”, he said.
Hon. Suleja however stated that though he had his personal relationship with one of the leading members of the R-APC, Senator Musa Kwanwaso, and shares his political ideologies, he was “still a member of the APC”.
