France are focused on winning the World Cup final during normal time, goalkeeper Hugo Lloris said o, adding that the side would look to avoid extra time or penalties.

“We are focused on our main task – 90 minutes. If there is a penalty shootout, so be it. A very serious match awaits us, we will spend much energy. This moment will remind us about all the efforts we made, about our whole journey. It’s time to impose our style of playing and play decisively from the very beginning,” Lloris told journalists.

He said he was happy playing the in the final of the tournament.

“I’m very privileged to play in the national squad at the World Cup. We, players, like this kind of challenges, and we’re ready to finish everything on a high note. It may be the most important match in our careers, and we shouldn’t spread ourselves too thin on details.”
