Little Jachinma Umeh emerges 2018/2019 Queen Mercyfilled Schools

Miss Jachinma Ann Umeh, daughter of renowned writer, and reputable legal practitioner, Mrs Sandra Nneka Umeh, has emerged the 2018/2019 Queen of Mercyfilled Schools.

Little Jachinma was crowned Miss Mercyfilled, at the schools end of the term celebration, which also marked an inaugural book review presented by the school.

Jachinma also bagged award for second best position in Basic two series, while she was congratulated for being a high flyer and doing her school proud.

Meanwhile, her older sister, Miss Chimamanda Lucia Umeh, was also warded the neatest student in the school.

Whereas, Jachinma desires to become a reputable lawyer and human rights campaigner, Chimamanda believes she will become the next Nigeria’s Chimamanda Adichie.

Speaking after the award, Jachinma expressed joy and gladness in having to serve as Queen Mercyfilled 2018/2019, and assured that she will be a shining example for other pupils to emulate.

Besides, Miss Mercyfilled said she wishes to become the next female Gani Fawehinmi in Nigeria, who will champion the cause of justice and ensure that the rule of law takes precedence over individual greed.

She also wishes to become a mouth piece for the downtrodden in the society, and ensure that even the poor are availed access to justice.

The School’s Proprietor, Mr Henry Okeahialam, welcomed all invited guests specially to the event, and treated all present to mouth watering dishes.
