Group urges Gov Dickson to probe alleged killings by oil surveillance security outfit

A community based group   Kimisese Mass Movement for Good Governance in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa state has given the Bayelsa state government a three weeks ultimatum to set up a panel of inquiry to investigate killings allegedly perpetrated by an oil surveillance security outfit in the state and bring perpetrators to book.


Addressing newsmen   in Yenagoa the state capital, chairman of the group Mr. Charles Kuroteize, said the group will drag the Bayelsa state government to court at the expiration of the ultimatum if nothing was done to address the issue, noting that the state government has the responsibility to protect lives and property of citizenry.
