It was indeed a brilliant convergence of top media executives, music critics and top social media influencers when Idol Records officially launched and unveiled its newly signed artistes.

At the unveiling which recently took place in Lagos, the C.E.O of Idol Records, Mr. Lawal Olaide revealed how he conceived the idea of establishing the record label.

“‘Idol Records was created out of the need to help talented youngsters realize their true potentials, creating a platform to make their dreams turn reality. Idol Records is here to focus on discovering, promoting, marketing and management of musical talents across Nigeria and even beyond. All we have in stock is to promote good music that will cut across all age groups and move beyond the Nigerian shores”, he said.

The label also used the opportunity to unveil two of its newly signed artistes, Uzoma  Victor, aka ‘Charmee’ and Olugbemi  Ebenezer Rotimi, ‘Lese’. Both artistes expressed gratitude to God and the label boss for the rare opportunity given to them, as they both promised to live up to expectation by dishing out several creative embodiment of songs with meaningful lyrics and content that will shake the Nigerian music space.
