The Chairperson of the House of Representatives Committee on Diaspora Matters and member representing Ajeromi- Ifelodun Federal Constituency, Honorable Rita Odichmma Orji, says her priority is to make residents of Ajegunle happy, adecision that led to the rehabilitation of many abandoned roads in the constituency and provision of social amenities.
Orji’s spokesperson, Paul Akharume, quoted his principal as saying her aim was to bring visible development that would impact positively on the people.
“That is why she decided to undertake the rehabilitation of roads in John Okorie Street, Muyibi Street, Kirikiri Road amongst others”, a statement said.
According to her, the on- going road repairs was to fill the missing gap in governance by the local government council whose duty is to fix roads and provide basic social amenities in the area.
The lawmaker solicited for prayers and support of her constituency members in the onerous task of making Ajegunle a modern city, noting that she was determined to give back legacy perfects in appreciation of their massive support for her during the 2015 general elections.
Orji, who said she was aware of the many challenges facing the community, enjoined youths not to allow themselves to be recruited and armed by self- seeking, inordinate, and ambitions politicians who are bent on unleashing terror and violence on the society.
