President General of Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, Olorogun Moses Taiga, has urged the Senate to discontinue its appeal against the victory of the senator representing Delta Central senatorial district, Ovie Omo-Agege, at a Federal High Court, Abuja.
Omo-Agege had challenged his suspension in court which he won.
Meanwhile, Taiga has congratulated Senator Omo-Agege on the victory, saying it was not a victory for the senator alone, but the entire Urhobo nation.
Taiga said the Urhobo nation was been denied representation at the red chambers and urged the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki and the senate leadership to immediately recall Omo-Agege to take his rightful place in the upper chambers.
It will be recalled that the Senate suspended Omo-Agege for 90 legislative days, an action which the court described as unconstitutional.
