Some aggrieved members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance Congress, APGA, in Delta State, allegedly fell party signposts and flags in the state over the inability of the National Chairman to act upon the report of the Disciplinary Committee which recommended sack for its chairman, Mr. Afamefune Enomokwu.

The affected local government numbering 12 include Uvwie, Ethiope East, Bomadi, Okpe, Ndokwa East, Aniocha North, Isoko North, Isoko South, Pathani, Sapele, Udu, Ugheli South and Ugheli North.

The seven man Disciplinary Committee headed by Mrs. Nwabueze Amechi and six others, had after its preliminary investigation on the suspended chairman, recommended sack for Afamefune.

But, in a reconciliation meeting, held in Amawbia, Awka on April 1, 2018, the national chairman of the party, Victor Oye, was said to have addressed party executive led by the embattled chairman and other members including the Leader of APGA in the state, Olorogun Dr. Ovie Ughwanogho, Patrick Edatire and Emmanuel Ibodor, and insisted that Afamefune remained the state chairman.

Efforts to reach the national Chairman, Mr. Victor Oye failed as repeated calls to his phone were not answered neither did he repy text message sent as enquiry.
