The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, LCCI, yesterday, announced the introduction of automated booking for the forthcoming 2018 Lagos International Trade Fair (LITF), to ease the usual rigorous registration process.

Chairman, Trade Promotion Board, LCCI, Mr. Gabriel Idahosa, disclosed this during the media launch of the 2018 LITF, which is scheduled to hold from Friday 2nd to Sunday 11th November, 2018 He said that with the current level of knowledge in information and communication technology, the process calls for serious overhauling.

Idahosa stated: “In response to this, the LITF website has been redesigned to enable online booking and payment. This year, exhibitors can now sit in the comfort of their offices; register, pay and book for space of their choices. This process has been designed to be seamless and friendly.

“It eliminates the time spent in coming to our offices to register and therefore enhance effectiveness on our part. I therefore call on our old and potential exhibitors to embrace this new process and enjoy the comfort on the platform. The rule of first pay, first serve will strictly apply.”

On foreign participation, Idahosa said, till date, LCCI has received interest from over 25 countries to participate in the 2018 LITF.
