BEACON OF ICT: Make ICT pillar of the economy, Adeoti tells Nigerian govt

…as Inlaks emerges ICT Company of the year

Managing Director, Africa Operations of Information Technology Systems Integrator,  Inlaks, Mr Femi Adeoti, has advised the Nigerian government to make ICT the mainstay of the economy to enable a faster economic growth.

Adeoti spoke while delivering a keynote address titled “Leveraging ICT Value for Building Institutions”, at the Beacon of ICT, BoICT lecture/Awards organised by Communications Week media ltd in Lagos recently.

Speaking before he was declared the ICT personality of the year at the event, Adeoti said that any nation that intends to grow faster must make ICT the pillar of its economy.

Meanwhile, his company, Inlaks also emerged ‘ICT Company of the year’ at the annual ICT event.

The BoICT lecture aims at charting way forward for the country’s ICT sector, while the award ceremony rewards best practices and recognise outstanding contributions to the growth of the sector.

The event showcased a carefully chosen group of discussants including the director general, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami and Femi Adeoti, Inlaks MD/CEO Africa Operations, amongst others.
