2019: NSCDC warns against vandalisation of infrastructure

Bauchi—Ahead of the 2019 general election, National Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Bauchi State Command has warned members of the public against vandalising public and private infrastructure, saying it will deal with anyone caught.

The NSCDC Deputy Commandant and Head of Department on Critical National Assets protection of the command, Okoh Philip, stated this, Monday, during a one-day stakeholders interactive forum on conservation and protection of public assets and infrastructure organised by National Orientation Agency, NOA, in Bauchi.

He said: “If anybody, either by omission or commission, is reported to us for destroying or tempering with the normal function of facilities provided either by the government or private organisation, he will be investigated and if found guilty, he will pay for the damages.”
