ASABA—A House of Assembly aspirant in Warri South West Local Government Area, Delta State, Mr Andrew Igban, has said he was in the race to add value to the lives of his people.
Speaking when he paid a consultative visit to the Olu of Warri, Igban said he was in the palace for royal blessings, adding that he was consulting stakeholders to intimate the people of his aspiration.
The House of Assembly hopeful who was accompanied by hundreds of supporters that cut across several interests, including notable politicians, community women, youth leaders and beneficiaries of Eric Igban Foundation, assured the people of effective representation if elected.
The former PDP Youth Leader and recipient of the United Nations World Habitat Humanitarian and Philosophic award of excellence for his love for national peace, youth empowerment, community development, humanitarian and philanthropic services, assured that he will remain a true ambassador of the entire people of Warri South-West council.
Saying that his support base cuts across Itsekiri/Ijaw ethnic divides because of his track records of reaching out to all segments of the society, Igban said he will influence people oriented projects to the area if elected.
Others who spoke extolled the virtues and qualities of Igban, stressing that he had used his foundation to promote peace, stability and prosperity in Warri South West LGA and Itsekiri nation at large.
