BY ROTIMI AGBANA

It is a common phenomenon the world over for men to request for sex from women in return for help. But in recent times, women are gradually becoming guilty of this practice.

Lagos State born Jos-based musician, Habeeb Olamide Olamijuwon, aka Kellywane, is one of the unsung victims of such absurdity.

In a chat with Potpourri, Kellywane recounted his experience with a woman he met at an event in Jos, who had promised to sponsor his music career in return for sexual gratification for her help.

According to him, the woman complained of being sex starved and pleaded with him to fill the vacuum of her husband who is mostly away.

“This came to me as a big shock as I never expected such from a woman who is happily married with wonderful kids. She offered to bankroll my music career if I grant her request, but I decided to reject the offer because of my conscience and the consequences that might follow should I accept the offer. I have since been avoiding her and even blocked her on every platforms through which she can reach me”, he said.

When asked the way forward for him, Kellywane said;

“I have done some very good tracks and already shot a video of one of my songs that has a guest appearance by Jesse Jags. The song, ‘Game of Thrones’, has enjoyed great airplay. I have also done a remix of the song featuring Jesse Jagz. I hope to deliver good music to Nigerians in the coming months and therefore enjoin Nigerians to keep supporting good music and help the upcoming acts find their feet in the industry.
