OLEH—A 33-year-old robbery suspect, identified as Mr. Ozegbe, has been killed in a mob action at Ogbe-Ogume community, Ndokwa West Local Government Area, Delta State, for his alleged involvement in the murder of a commercial motorcyclist.
It was learned that Ozegbe, said to be a fleeing suspect, was relaxing in a bar in the community, when he was apprehended by some persons and later clubbed to death.

A source said some gunmen had accosted the okada rider at his premises, when he returned home after the day’s work, and demanded for the key of his motorcycle.
According to the source, “the robbers forced the motorcycle from him and in the process, he was shot dead. Later, one of the suspects was arrested by the Police and he confessed that Ozegbe was also involved in the murder.
“Since then, he has been on the run until he was found in the beer parlour.”
Contacted, Police Public Relations Officer of the state command, Mr. Andrew Aniamaka, confirmed the incident, saying “there was a case of robbery and murder. The notorious criminal was killed by a mob.”
