Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi has taken Governor Okowa’s re-election campaign to leaders, stakeholders and traditional rulers in Ndokwa land, calling on them to support the re-election crusade of Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State come 2019.
Osanebi in one of his visits over the weekend in Lagos, met with the President General (PG) of the highest Social Political group and umbrella body of Ndokwa people globally, Ndokwa Neku Union ( NNU); High Chief Johnson Opone FCA and further consulted His Royal Majesty, Enyi Friday Abaja, the Ukwuata 1 of Umukwata.
In different encounters, Osanebi thanked the two leaders and major stakeholders in the Ndokwa project for their support for the government of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and their leadership style which has helped in consolidating the peace and development of Ndokwa land.
The deputy speaker noted that within 3 years of Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration, he has demonstrated rare capacity and leadership charisma which has made Delta State stable, even in the face of serious economic challenges.
While thanking and applauding the efforts of the leaders, Osanebi also called, “The Empowerment Master”, further prayed them for more support and cooperation with the Governor and government of Delta State, especially for the re-election of Governor Okowa, come 2019.
Osanebi noted that the PDP led administration of Delta State has carefully distributed projects and social infrastructures around Ndokwa land and God, through the party and his colleagues in the House of Assembly has privileged him to serve as Deputy Speaker of the state house of assembly, adding that one good turn deserves another.
The deputy speaker also said that the three local governments areas of Ndokwa land are major strongholds of the People’s Democratic Party, adding that the cooperation and support of leaders, youths and women of the area will enhance the Governor’s return to office to complete his prosperity and transformation project in Delta State.
