Okotie-Eboh tells Army to take TY Danjuma’s observation seriously

By Dave Oso
ABUJA—Emmanuel Okotie-Eboh, founder of Progressive Alliance Movement, PAM, and son of Nigeria’s first Finance Minister, Chief Festus Okotie-Eboh, has urged the military not to play politics with fragile peace being experienced in Nigeria, noting that General Theophilus Danjuma is not a man that talks for talking sake.

Mr Emmanuel Okotie-Eboh,

Okotie-Eboh in a statement Monday in Abuja, stated that: “If the allegations of military playing politics with the insurgency in the country are true, they should quickly address it because we know what it can lead the country into.

General TY Danjuma does not need publicity. He is a man that rarely talks on national issues but when he speaks, he makes a lot of sense.

“The same goes for people like retired Generals Yakubu Gowon and David Ejoor. So, when people like that speak, we should take their statement seriously.’’
