Mansur said that the defence and midfield failed to check the incursions of Serbian strikers.

“Our defence and midfield were not spectacular at all, even though the result was not so bad because it was a warm-up match,” the coach said.

He however pointed out that there were more friendly matches ahead for the team, adding “we will use those matches to make amends’’.

Nigeria had on Friday defeated Poland 1-0 in Warsaw in a friendly too.

Today’s match is one of the many friendly matches lined up for the super Eagles ahead of the World Cup in Russia.(NAN)
