OLEH -FORMER Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Area. Delta State and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Ferguson Onwo, has revealed his intention to run for the Delta State House of Assembly seat for the Isoko South constituency II in the 2019 general election.
Making the disclosure in an interaction with newsmen, Onwo, a one time Senior Special Assistant to Governor on NDDC, said: “Driven by deep passion to serve, having prayed to God almighty in whom all Powers belong and reside, have consulted with my nuclear and extended family members, associates, friends and well wishers, hereby declare my interest to contest the election in to the Delta State House of Assembly as a member to represent Isoko south constituency 2 in 2019.
“In the meantime, I will Commence consultation with party leaders, opinion leaders. I anticipate your usual support in our collective quest to move isoko forward. Thank you all and God bless.”
Commending the State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for his developmental strides across all communities in the state, he said the “Governor has done enough to merit a second tenure.”
