KANO – Governor of Kano state, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has paid a sympathy visit to Kano frontline politician Ibrahim Al-Ameen Little at his residence located at Link road, Unguwar Rimi, Kaduna.

A Press statement by Ganduje’s Chief Press Secretary, Malam Abba Anwar made available to Vanguard said that his principal was in Kaduna “to sympathise with him after the surgical operation he had based on the injuries he sustained when some unknown gun men attacked him few days back.”
The statement said Ganduje prayed for Allah’s protection in his future endeavour and conveyed to him how shocked Kano people were when they heard about the ugly incident.
Anwar said “Ganduje delivered sympathy message on behalf of the government and people of Kano state, as well pray to Allah for his quick recovery.”
In his response, Al Amin while he appreciated the governor told him he was discharged from the hospital two days back.
Little was a former State Chairman of the defunct All People’s Party (APP) and one time gubernatorial candidate under the People’s Redemption Party in 2007.
He is currently an elder in the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
