ABUJA-House of Representatives at Tuesday plenary lifted the sanction of suspension imposed on Abdulmumin Jibrin in September, 2016.
This is coming after Jibrin had spent over 180 legislative days outside the chambers.
It will recalled that the lawmaker was suspended in connection to the 2016 budget which was reportedly “padded”.
The House had demanded apology from Jibrin but he vowed never to do so.
But the House stood its grounds on the matter.
Showing a letter of apology Abdulmumin Jibrin wrote to the House, Speaker, Hon. Yakubu Dogara said that the suspended lower chamber parliamentarian had apologised for his wrong doing, saying he was free to resume his legislative duties.
Dogara however left a caveat, saying “unless there are new developments”.
