The member representing Ethiope federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Lovette Idis, says his second term will usher in more dividends of democracy.
Idisi spoke at Ibori’s Civic Centtre, Oghara, Ethiope West local government area while briefing his constituents on his stewardship at the lower chamber of the National Assembly since he assumed office.
While urging the people of his constituency to support him on his second term bid, the lawmaker said he will not disappoint them on the mandate given to him to represent them, saying that their pains were his pains.
He said upon his assumption of office, he swung into action and, within his three years in the House, he sponsored many bills that could improve the welfare of the people.
Idisi said he had empowered party leaders, stakeholders and others within his constituency in line with his campaign promises, assuring them of more dividends of democracy if elected for the second time.
