‘’The movie is about people that had lived peacefully for several decades but suddenly turned enemies, resulting in deaths of many people and displacement of numerous others, majority of them women and children.  It is a story of an Army officer in whose unfortunate fostering was caused by the killing of his parents through his kinsmen from Aje town because his father is an Iludun man and they lived in Aje where his mother hailed from when a war later broke out between these two communities.

“He was subsequently left with a surviving sister and both grew up in a very hard and harrowing way. Unfortunately, the fratricidal war broke out again and claimed the life of his sister, Arike. He however expected the government to nip the pogrom in the bud and bring the perpetrators to justice, having suffered many misfortunes,  but when the authorities failed,

Owuteru in his wisdom, believed it is logical for him to get involved in the war and avenge the killings of his parents and his only surviving sister. This eventually marked the beginning of a lasting solution to the conflict that had claimed several lives and properties.’’ Amodu narrated

Whilst commenting on quality of artistes that featured in his new movie that is near completion, Mr Amodu informed, “My casts were carefully selected, and I make bold to say they professionally displayed competence in the delivery of their roles which worked perfectly in line with the dictates of the script.

Their tolerance, professional prowess, and cooperation during the period of the shooting in Lagos as well as Ibadan can never be taken for granted. We had an atmosphere where diverse professional and ingenious inputs were made by these seasoned actors which I must say contributed greatly to the success of the production.’’
