NB brands sign pact with NFF on 2018 world cup campaign

Nigerian Breweries, NB Plc and the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) have signed an agreement that will see its brands; Star Lager and Amstel Malta serve as official drinks for the Nigeria team at the Russia 2018 world cup campaign.

The Marketing Director, NB, Mr. Franco Maria Maggi, at the unveiling ceremony in Lagos said: “Essentially, this is a partnership with all of Nigeria, to support all the national football teams representing this great nation on the football pitch, and the millions of fans who watch with excitement, support and cheer the team. Star Lager has always been a strong supporter of Nigerian Football and the fans of the game, gearing all football stakeholders and fans to shine on, while Amstel Malta is well known for inspiring people to be the best they can be.”

In addition, the Managing Director/CEO of NB,   Mr. Jordi Borrut Bel, said, “NB identifies with the Nigerian passion for the game of football, as well as the desire and expectation for more groundbreaking feats by the national teams. We are delighted to be partnering with the Nigerian Football Federation to celebrate this true passion that is fueled by patriotism, resilience and desire for victory, through the platform of Football”.
