Iroegbu, who’s opening up for the first time on his crashed marriage, said the movie which was shot in Abuja and starred the likes of Monalisa Chinda-Coker, Francis Duru, Thelma Omone O’khaz, Sam Dede among other stars, said the movie is inspired by his own true life experience.

Intimating HVP, about the upcoming movie, the former Executive Assistant, Creative Entertainment and Tourism, under the Senior Special Assistant to former President Goodluck Jonathan on Youth and Students Affairs, said; “I just produced a new film called “ The Good Husband”  which is a movie inspired by own true life and my other stories in the public domain.”

“Marriage is the only institution God established on earth. When mine crashed, I thought it was an assignment. Indeed, it was an assignment. For that experience alone, I probably wouldn’t have had the privilege of conceiving the concept of “The Good husband”.  I am doing the post production right now.” Describing “The Good Husband” as a very important film to him, Iroegbu noted that a lot of men are dying in silence in the name of marriage.  “There are a lot of men who are dying in silence. But in this film,I decided to tell the story of marriage from the perspective of a man. Most of the times,  when marriage is discussed it is usually from the point of view of the women, but in this film, it’s discussed from the men’s perspective. In marriage, when a woman is molested everybody gets to hear of it, but when the man is molested nobody raises any eyebrow.  And  a lot of men are dying in silence and that’s how important this film is.” That’s why it is titled ‘The Good Husband’, he asserted.
