A CHIEFTAIN of All Progressives Congress in Delta State, Prof Pat Utomi has said that the ethnic composition of Delta State is not a problem to the state.
He also said that in deciding who becomes the party’s governorship candidate, antecedent, merit, and character should be considered.
Briefing newsmen in Ibusa, Utomi, who is aspiring to run for the governorship position in the state, promised to put the state’s economy on the path of sustainable growth and development.
His words: “There is a cross-section of Deltans encompassing the three senatorial districts that talked about the prospects of power equilibrium. Any political party that seriously wishes to take over power from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State needs to think about it as part of its overall strategy for winning the election.
