KANO – A fatal road crash Monday morning claimed the life of Kano Pillars utility player, Chinedu Udoji in Kano.

The media officer of the team, Malikawa Garu told Vanguard on phone that the accident occurred Sunday night along Club road by Independent way in  Kano metropolis.

Garu said that “Udoji’s car hit the concrete median separator on the metropolitan highway by the roundabout of Club Road /Independent way” on his way back to the Pillars’ club house after visiting his former Enyimba teammates in thier hotel.

Udoji was on song yesterday for Kano Pillars league game against Enyimba football club at the Sani Abacha Stadium.

Udoji, 28, is survived by his wife and two children.
