The CEO of Dufil Prima Foods Plc. Deepak Singhal  has described the effective use of science laboratory equipment in teaching science students across Nigeria as a pivotal to revamping the falling standard of science education in Nigeria .

Speaking at the presentation of full science laboratory equipment to Iganmode Grammar School, Ota, Ogun State,   Singhal,  represented by the Group Public Relations Officer,  Mr. Tope Ashiwaju,  said : “Teachers should ensure they utilize the laboratory equipment effectively in order   to improve the performance of their students in science subjects especially in West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASCE) as well as the National Examination Council (NECO) exams.”

Ashiwaju commended all the staff of Iganmode for a siren and secured environment for leaning.

Responding, school Principal, Mr. Olalekan Akinosi, assured Prima Foods of effective utilisation. “The donations will go a long way in changing the face of science education in the school as government cannot shoulder the responsibility of the education sector alone but requires the support of responsible organizations like Dufil”, she said.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of the school, Mayor Hakeem Amodu, expressed the profound appreciation of the community to Dufil Prima Foods.
