Meanwhile, RoboMichael has been issued license to resume exploration of Oil in Ogoniland, an area operated by SPDC before the face-off between the company and the community.

The National Coordinator of Ken Saro-Wiwa   Associates, Chief Gani Topba, who stated this yesterday, when he led the group to Nonwa in Tai local government area of the state,   insisted that the SPDC license at expiration in 2019 should not be renewed.

Topba called on President Muhammadu Buhari to resist the ploy to renew the licence of SPDC in operating the OML 11, saying:  “The licence of Shell on OML 11 expires next year and as it expires in 2019, Ogoni will be free from bondage because the local and international investors will now be free to come into Ogoniland to invest.”
