ASABA—BUSINESS mogul, Chief Victor Nwajei, has donated a 1,000-sitting capacity church building to St. Augustine Catholic Church Chaplaincy, Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.

Speaking during a reception at his residence shortly after a service in the church, sited within the premises of St. Augustine College, Nwajei noted that his faith in God led him to build the church.

He said: “The inspiration came from the fact that in time past, each time I did something for God, I got the reward; most times, almost instantly. That was the encouragement.”

Disclosing that his mother, who took ill for the first time in seven decades was another inspiration, he said: “My mother fell ill for the first time since I was born and that is close to seven decades ago.

“She was in coma for 16 days and was hospitalised for 13 weeks. Today, you saw her in church. May the Lord be praised.”
