ASABA—THE conflict between the Ogbe-Ijoh Traditional Council and the Governing Council , Warri, Delta State over the new executive has been resolved.
Ama-Okosu of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, HRM Monbene III, has sworn in members of the Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Governing Council headed by Mr. Friday Deingha as Chairman.
The ceremony at the palace of the Ogbe-Ijoh monarch had in attendance several chiefs from the Kingdom as well as security personnel.
He charged the 11 man Governing council to work as a team for the common good of the kingdom.
The raditional ruler, who spoke through Chief Monday Keme stressed the need for all sons and daughters of the kingdom to put interest of the people above their personal gains.
He appealed to the youths to accept education and acquire an additional skill with a view to becoming self reliant.
In his remarks, Chairman of the Ogbe-Ijoh Governing Council, Mr Deingha assured the Ogbe-Ijoh Traditional Council of his readiness to improve upon the success of his predecessor.
Others sworn in are: Mr. Adamon Simon, Vice Chairman of Ogbe-Ijoh Governing Council, Mr Dubele Benson, Public Relations Officer, Mr Okpe Prince, Assistant Secretary among others.
