ABUJA – An Abuja High Court at Maitama, on Thursday, rejected application by erstwhile Governor of Sokoto State, Attahiru Bafarawa and his son, Sagir, who were accused of complicity in the illegal diversion of $2.1billion meant for the procurement of arms, to have their trial separated from that of the former National Security Adviser, NSA, Col. The court, in a ruling by trial Justice Hussein Baba- Yusuf, dismissed the application for want of merit.
