President of NLC Comrade Ayuba Wabba, said that since the election of the leadership of the NLC, the promoters of the ULC who allegedly lost out in the election have tried to fictionalised the labour union, adding that every efforts made to reconcile with them had proved abortive.

The leadership of the two unions told the Federal Government not to be intimidated by the antics of the promoters of ULC as it was not a registered labour union.

The ULC led by Comrade Joe Ajaero of the electricity sector and Comrade Igwe Achese of the petroleum sector had issued the strike notice and promised to enforce it.
