The Globacom-promoted Mega Music Nationwide Tour which is scheduled to go round 27 cities in Nigeria will this week enter the big Festival Town  known as FESTAC Town.  The town was named after the Festival of Arts and Culture which took place in 1977 and gathered all of Africa for a cultural celebration.

The FESTAC concert will feature the biggest stars in the industry including  Olamide, Flavour, Phyno, Timaya, Kiss Daniel, Di’Ja and Reekado Banks. DJ Neptune will be the disc jockey at the event which will hold at the pristine Golden Tulip Hotel.

Globacom will bring some of its brand Ambassadors as celebrity guests – the likes of Mercy Johnson-Okojie and Juliet Ibrahim who will anchor the show, and Odunlade Adekola, Patience Ozokwor and Richard Mofe-Damijo who will be  celebrity guests and will interact with the audience.

In a statement issued on Friday, the firm explained that the show is free to all subscribers as long as they use up to N2,000 a month for data or voice. Glo counseled the subscribers to send SMS “MUSIC FESTAC” to the short code 207″.

According to the statement, those who have not used up to  N2,000 before the event day can also be part of the fun by recharging the lines with N2,000 or more at the venue. They will then receive tickets which will admit them into the concert hall.
