It was a night of fun, laughter, glitz, glamour, razzmatazz, and musical reminiscence, at the maiden edition of the much anticipated ‘Ajegunle to the world concert’ held recently at the Landmark Event Centre, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The concert which brought together entertainers, socialites and celebrities from all walks of life was the first of its kind in the history of Nigerian entertainment.
The concert served guests top notch entertainment with performances from Nigeria’s best artistes. Aimed at showcasing talents and success stories from Ajegunle, the concert paraded an array of entertainers such as Daddy Showkey, Kcee, Baba Fryo, African China, Teery Apala, D’Prince, Don Jazzy, Oritse Femi, Solid Star, and a host of others who began their career from Ajegunle.
Hosted by comedian, Elenu and comic actress, Ada Ameh, the epoch making concert attracted the presence of the crème de la crème which include former governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva, former PMAN boss, Bolaji Rosiji, veteran artiste manager, Sunday Are, Ruth Kadiri, BBN winner, Efe, Thin Tall Tony, Sound Sultan, Puffy Tee and many other notable celebrities.
Though the concert began behind schedule, good music, rib-cracking jokes and jaw breaking dance moves from different dance crews lit up the ambience. Flekta man, Chuddy K, Terry Apala, LAX, Solidstar, D’Prince, Kcee, Daddy Showkey, Oritse Femi, African china, Daddy Fresh, Danfo Drivers and a host of others, threw the audience into musical bliss when they thrilled with both old and new songs of theirs, as the crowd roared in excitement.
