Akinade Onigbinde Coach of Federal Road Safety Corps FC on Friday said team spirit was key to giving Super Eagles victory not only against Cameroon but other matches for Russia 2018.
Onigbinde said this in an interview with the newsmen in Abuja when speaking on ways of qualifying for Russia 2018.
He said that victory was a costly achievement that required hard, work, dedication and resilience to make it realizable.
‘’The team should train together and blend so that they will understand one another for a good result.
‘’Adequate blending is the only thing needed by the players now to beat Cameroon or any other team on the road to Russia,’’ Onigbinde said.
The coach urged the team to unite in all aspects and tactics to ensure victorious outing in their subsequent matches.
He condemned any form of individual spirit in football, saying that team’s successes in matches were hinged on synergy.
Nigeria will on Aug. 31 slug it out with Cameroun in a qualifying series for FIFA’s Russia 2018 World Cup.
