Ozubulu Killings: Provide security for all churches in Nigeria, cleric urges FG

ASABA—BISHOP of Promise Kingdom Ministry, Sapele, Delta State, Dr Godday Okokporo has described the Sunday killings at St Philip Catholic Church,  Ozubulu, Ekwuzigo Local Government Area, Anambra State as a terrorist attack on the Church.

Condemning the attack, the cleric urged the Federal Government to provide security for all worship centers  in the country.

Okokporo said; “The church in Nigeria is under severe attack. The shooting at Ozubulu is not a mere attack but a terrorist attack.

“I urged the Federal Government to provide security for all worship centres in the country to forestall further killings of innocent worshippers in the country.”

He however told Christians in Nigeria to be vigilant and prayerful in order to check and forestall more killings in the Church.

Meanwhile, Bayelsa State Government has joined other well-meaning Nigerians and groups in condemning last weekend’s shooting incident at St. Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu in Ekwusi
