Speaking at the draw, Chairperson of the Nigerian Women Premier League, Aisha Falode said the Super Four was the first in the history of women football in the country.
She said that leading to the Super Four League, the season ran its full course without walkovers of cancellation of matches. “All the matches were won and lost on the pitch,” she said as she expressed appreciation to the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation for their support and guidance in her board’s bid to reposition women football in the country.
