Nigeria Pentathlon Federation sets up media committee

The Nigeria Modern Pentathlon Federation has set up a media/ Publicity Committee for the   forthcoming Youth Olympic Games qualifier billed for December in Lagos.

President of the federation Jonathan Nnaji who doubles as the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee said the 2018 Youth Olympic Games which starts with the global qualifiers across all continents this year is a media event and there was no way Nigeria would host the qualifiers without giving it the desired media attention hence the creation of media/publicity sub-committee which has Frank Ilaboya as Chairman.

Other members of the committee include, Andrew Ekejiuba of Daily Time Newspapers, Gowon, Akpodonor (Guardian Newspapers),  Festus Abu (Punch Newspaper), Joe Apu (The SUN newspaper), Jacob Ajom (Vanguard Newspaper), Ajibade Olusegun Blessing ( New Telegraph Newspaper), Adeola Omokhivie (NTA) Promise Efoge (TV Continental) Niran Adesina (Silver Bird Television) and Patrick Ibeh of Metro Sports who is secretary to the committee.

Chairman  of the committee, Frank Ilaboya while briefing his members on the task ahead during their inaugural meeting at the national stadium, Surulere Lagos, said the eleven man committee drawn from both print and electronic media were carefully selected for optimum result.
