Breaking: Kidnappers abduct Lagos Clerk Omotayo, Demand N20m ransom

Kidnappers, Wednesday, have demanded a ransom of N20 Million after abducting the Clerk of IKeja Local Government area in Lagos, Samsudeen Omotayo.

Omotayo was kidnapped on Wednesday morning in Imota area of Lagos while on his way to work.

The kidnappers have established contact and are demanding N20 million ransom for his release.

Chairman, IKeja  Local Government Area,  Engr.  Mojeed Balogun confirmed the kidnap to newsmen.

Engr. Balogun said the council was working to ensure the release of the clerk.

Also confirming the development, the Information Officer, Ikeja Local Government, Mr. Onilegbale, said the kidnappers had contacted the Head of Administration of the Council Area, Mrs.  Mosunmola Otaiku-Okoka and were demanding for N20 million as ransom.
