PEOPLES Democratic Party, PDP aspirant, Dr. Alex Ogbogbolu has promised to tap into the Biafra can do spirit of survival to boost the agricultural base of the state.

“I believe that we can get to our destination if we believe in ourselves. As far as I am concerned, Biafra represents integrity, ingenuity and faith in God. It is a mind thing to say that Igbo are marginalized because we can overcome every situation.

“From the 20 pounds everybody was given after the civil war, we have today, multi billionaires, industrialists of repute and entrepreneurs of all categories in our state. It is in that spirit that I offer myself to serve as governor of Anambra State.

“We have always been number one and we will continue to be number one if I become governor. I will ensure food security and we will embark on mechanized agriculture.

My belief is that instead of empowering few individuals to embark on agriculture, I will distribute such money to hundreds of farmers in all parts of the state and the result will better.
