Omo-Agege was reportedly attacked in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State last Saturday during a constituency outreach.

Taiga urged all Urhobo sons and daughters to come up with programmes to develop the Urhobo nation and sell such programmes to the electorate rather than resorting to violence.
He thanked God for ensuring that there was no loss of life in the unfortunate attack and urged security agencies to thoroughly investigate the incident and get to the root of the matter.
