Nollywood actress Jaiye Kuti is set to premiere her two new movies in the United Kingdom and the United States. The movies titled, Oro Mi and Olori Amolegbe, will be premiered in Dagenham, UK on July 14th in Dallas and Indianapolis on July 28th and 30th respectively and will end on August 4 in Maryland, USA
The actress who has paid her dues in the make-believe world, majors in the Yoruba sector of Nollywood, revealed the reason behind her choice of location for the premiere. “I shot the movies abroad and I made a promise that it would also be premiered there too so that some of the acts would be part of it. I also have a lot of fans abroad who want to be part of what I do. But home is home, so I will also return home to do the Nigerian premiere. I will be doing that in Lagos on the the 3rd of November” she said.
The screen diva also revealed that both films, which were directed by Oluwole Samson Adebayo and Abbey Lanre respectively, were inspired by true life stories.
The sultry actress who is highly adored by the Nigerian community in the UK has a great antecedent in her movie premieres in London, with the success of last year’s premiere of ‘Jaiye Ni Monje”.
Jaiye Kuti is the star actress in the movies which parades some of the best actors in the industry, including Fuji Music star, Pasuma Alabi, Funsho Adeolu, Bimbo Oshin, Lanre Balogun, Akin Lewis and Ayo Adesanya, to mention a few.
