The Aspen Institute will host the fifth annual Madeleine K. Albright Global Development Lecture on Wednesday at the Aspen Meadows campus.

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the former minister for the economy in Nigeria, will be honored at the lecture. The lecture recognizes an exceptional individual whose vision has provided breakthrough thinking to tackle the challenges of global development.

Okonjo-Iweala and Albright, the former U.S. secretary of state, will be featured in a conversation with moderator Peggy Clark of the Aspen Institute.

The event will be held at Paepcke Auditorium from 5 to 6 p.m.
